Nenos International Trade Documentation AI Agent is built around a pipeline for extracting and transforming trade data — from invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and ERP exports — into standardized, compliant export documentation. A dedicated tariff classification module automatically identifies and validates the correct HS and TARIC codes for each product, based on technical descriptions and up-to-date classification rules, eliminating one of the most common reasons for customs delays. Extracted data is validated for internal consistency before populating final documents — quantities, values, weights, country codes are cross-document verified, with discrepancies automatically flagged for human review.

Connectivity with customs agents and international transport brokers is ensured through REST API and MCP, allowing direct electronic transmission of documentation to partners in the export chain without manual data re-entry. LangGraph orchestrates the complete operational flow — from the reception of source data to the confirmation of the transmission of final documents — with full traceability and auditability. The microservices architecture on AWS ensures scalability for large volumes of export operations, and on-premises deployment is available for organizations with strict confidentiality requirements regarding commercial data and international partnerships. Interoperability with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), electronic customs platforms and supply chain management systems is achieved through dedicated connectors.

Agent security is treated as a stand-alone architectural layer. In international trade, incorrect documentation has direct customs and legal implications. Robustness testing to inconsistent data in source documents, manipulation of tariff classifications, and attempts to generate documentation for unauthorized operations are specific security priorities. Each instance undergoes a rigorous adversarial testing process before delivery, covering the main attack vectors specific to LLM systems and the full spectrum of vulnerabilities cataloged in the OWASP LLM Top 10.
